It has been such a
long time since I've written and I am so sorry for the long
delay. I have been in bed for almost a year now. I have times
when I feel good and times when I feel really bad. But, I have
learned one thing about feelings. They have NOTHING TO DO WITH
FAITH IN GOD!!...

Thank you for the
rooms full of flowers, the tables full of cards, and beautiful
little gifts laying everywhere. Thank you so much! I know I have
missed so many gifts I should have sent for these special
occasions. And then, trusting God to heal my sick stomach...

delay in writing. I have been really ill the past few months, in

even go up and down the stairs...

me e-mails and cards with well wishes and notes of
encouragement, which mean so much to me, thank you for keeping
me in your thoughts and prayers...

First a much
needed apology from ME! I am so sorry I’ve gone so long without
an update that you have been asking for. It’s hard for me to
write to everyone when I’m not feeling good because I like our
time together to be uplifting and happy...

A couple of days
ago I walked into my doctor’s office with the assistance of my
husband and my son James. His ministry has so graciously
provided someone to help him so that he can come and spend some
time with Mom. I appreciate that more than they will ever know....

First of all I
want to say thank you for the hundreds of precious encouraging
e-mails. I have them stacked knee high. Much to my regret I will

My how this
computer age has changed the way we communicate! But I love the
little sticky thing they call a stamp! I like the one with the
roses on it! I'll have to admit though this way is much faster.
I can hardly keep up with the fast pace anymore. I think we all
need to "SLOW DOWN AND ENJOY THE SCENERY ALONG THE WAY!"...

I FEEL FANTASTIC!!
I have been off chemo for 4 weeks now at my own request. After 4

As much as I hate
Chemotherapy, I have begun to see some humor in the whole process.
“EVERYBODY HATES IT!” It’s not just ME! We all HATE everything about
it! Ha! Ha! I’ve never ONCE heard one person say, “Man, I just love
chemo!” So, we have a big, “I HATE Chemo Club!” But we are all
sitting in a chair hours a day getting the stuff! We are wearing
funny hats, bright colors and carrying teddy bears or other little
fuzzy “comfort pals.”...

I thank God every
day for YOU!! I really do!
I was supposed to start Chemo here in Charlotte last Monday.
Tests showed that my red and white cell count were down so far
that Chemo was not possible. I asked you to pray and I just left
the doctors office with a “good report”!! My count is up both
white and red and I can start Chemo again this coming Monday. I
will be there for 6 hours Monday and two and a half hours on
Tuesday...

I don't know HOW
to say a proper thank you for the prayers you have prayed for
me. I KNOW what prayer involves, first of all you have to
actually stop and THINK about me, then you have to take your
valuable time to ask God to help me, and to heal my body. I want
to say thank you for that. I can feel your prayers, especially
during the discouraging times when I'm feeling sick and wishing
I didn't have cancer. When that happens I picture YOU asking God
to help me. And I feel better!...
