Tammy, I have always loved you because you never judged people espically
gay people. I felt that when PTL fell that "Jerry Fallwell" really sold
you guys down the river and even then you refrained from making
judgements. I find you re-freshing in this show and have met Ron Jeremy
before and he is certainly a nice person, not your typical porn star. I
am so proud that you state how you feel in this show, but get along so
well for others. You are a fine example of what Christians' should

I had a negative image of Ron Jeremy until now, he is so down to earth.

Wow! I had preconceived notions about everyone on this show,
specifically Tammy Faye and I have to swallow the jagged pill and
completely change my mind. She is a complete DOLL! She does justice to

was a fundraiser for AIDS research though the AIDS Service Agency of the
Carolinas. What an evening a fun and she certainly seemed to have a lot

shocks!! If someone would have told me ahead of time that I would get
choked up every time Tammy Faye (a woman who is very outspoken against
what I do for a living) started to cry, I would have told them they were
nuts! But, that is exactly what happened!!
Ron: At first, I was convinced it was going to be some kind ordeal I
would have to survive. I just knew that we would all get on each other's
nerves. Our best hope was to resign ourselves to being completely bored.
I never thought that we would all leave here in tears. How embarrassing
is that?

hi tammy! when surreal life is here again me and my son patrick watched
again and again and even though there is a re-run we still watched!!My
son loves you so much and he even called you "My grandma" and i was so
amazed with that. We will not sleep until the show is done and then
after the show he wants more keep telling him we will see her again on
sunday then he will stop crying. I hope there another surreal life and
tell the truth i want your original cast again, its the BOMB! you rock,
you make me cry while your signing your book and you are REAL person, I
hope someday Id like to meet you and of course my son too!!! Take

Tammy Faye, I have to admit that the first time I saw you on TV many
years ago, you were great matierial for my jokes. I thought you were a
fake and when everything came crashing down on you, I must of been the
first one that stood up and cheered. That was then....Many years later
my life took an unexpected turn and I came to know a powerful and loving
God. I have come to realize through your appearance on the Surreal Life,
that it was I who was the fake. You are real. You are living the life of
Christ on that show and if ever there was a nomination for a female
Billy Graham, I would be the first to cast my vote for you. My wife and
I pray for you every week and ask God to give you strength. We know
there are many watching and around you who would like to see you fall
and fail. God brings me to my knees when I watch you and what you have

Tammy Faye - You are amazinng. I had never watched the show before,
however, after I found out you were a cast member I wanted to viewed the
show to see Tammy Faye. I knew about your experience with the church and
your make-up style and that was it. But after watching you on the show.
I can say you are an amazing lady. The book signing episode really
touched me and especially when you spoke of the dead you carried on your
back,it brought tears to my eyes.

Tammy, I thought it was terrible that the producers did not give you or
any of the other cast members warning about the nudist resort so that
you did not have to witness things that are against your beliefs. I was
shocked that the producers would put anyone, let alone a classy,
principled lady like yourself, in such a position.

I almost died when I thought of Tammy Faye being on the show. And I'm
almost sure the producers were looking for some religous clown who would
make all Christians look bad, but it backfired on them. Tammy was truly
head and shoulders above the whole cast. She was sweet sensitive, funny,
but she stood her grounds in a non-preaching "In your face" way. She
even brought me to tears a couple of times, and she left her thumb print
on the hearts of the rest of the Surreal Lifers. Way to go Tammy!

You know, I always judged Tammy Faye by how she was portrayed because of
the whole PTL thing, her (IMO) excessive makeup and flashy clothes. I'm
really glad that she did this show because it showed the world what a
truly wonderful, loving and special person she is. If everyone could be
as open and loving as she is, the world would be a much better place. I
have so much respect for her after this show...and that coming from what
I used to think of her says a lot. I love you, Tammy Faye! If you come
to my town, I'll come to see you!

Tammy, I thought you were such a bad person. My opinion has changed. I
had prejudged you and I am sorry. Your appearance on the surreal life
should be an inspiration for christians around the world. God made each
and every one of us perfect and your acceptance of every person (while
not accepting their deeds, free will) showed me what a good person you
are. I am still learning how to be a christian. At one time I thought
you were a bad example but through this TV show I see how I need to
accept others around me. Maybe your mission in life was to show how we
all make mistakes and how God forgives. You Truly are an inspiration to

religiously and sent we don't know how much money. Because of that, I
had hard feelings, and unfortunately, towards you, too. I am so glad you

The first time I really saw anything about Tammy was when she and her
daughter were guests on "This Is Your Day" w/Pastor Benny Hinn. That
showed me what a special person she is. Regardless of all the negative
press she had received in the past, I knew that she was a sweet,
sensitive woman and so was her daughter. When I caught the second
episode of "The Surreal Life"--was hooked from there! There was Tammy
and Trishelle (one of my favorites from MTV). Trishelle may come around
to the Lord; she reminds me of myself when I was her age (am now 28)
Thank you, Tammy, for your Godly influence on these co-stars and others
watching the show. Am getting your book for my birthday next month

I totally agree with all the positive remarks already posted. Tammy, you
are a true shining example of our Lord, Jesus Christ. God is so happy
with you! You have managed to hold your ground with all the goofballs in
the house. They are great people, but need to do some spiritual seeking.
I too, was judgemental towards you at one time. I saw you in Marie
Callendar's here in town back in 87 or 88, and I could only comment on
your makeup. Why was I looking at the sliver in your eye when I had a
plank in my own? Please forgive me..you are truely a person to admire!

i think that tammy is a very sweet lady. I believe in God and
everything, but not in the bible I think its just a bunch of crap people
made up and wrote about it, but its still good she believes in what she
believes and doesn't have anyone try to change those beliefs.
