I'm not a very religious person, I don't go to church, but I do believe there's a God. You are such an inspiration. My family has battled cancer and even though the hardest times, we got through. I might not pray but I do hope that you get better. The world would be such a different place without someone like you to help inspire those that are lost. You are a beautiful person, and I really do admire your strength. Sending love and well wishes!!!

Dear Tammy Faye, 7-21-07

Your interview on Larry King was encouraging and uplifting!

By doing that interview, you gave teaching through actions of how to be fearless and full in faith in Christ during very difficult times.

You continue your message of Christ and also of charity and kindness to others. Especially to those whom just because of their sexual orientation, many have just thrown away.

I believe you have become a true Saint. I say this as a Catholic.

I know you are not so worried about yourself, but rather your children, your family, friends and fans. Please don’t worry because as God takes care of you, remember, he is going to take care of all those you love.

No one knows the day or the hour our Lord will come to take us home and you are teaching like Pope John Paul was teaching in that no matter how ill we might be or what we are going through, “Be not afraid” and of course stay in Christ rather than allow suffering to cause the ill or the care giver to question God.

God works in mysterious ways and always has a good reason no matter how difficult the situation at hand seems to be.

God bless you Tammy and your whole family. Prayers continue to go out for you and yours.

In Christ,

Mark in Chattanooga, Tennessee
Dearest Tammy Faye, I wish you peace and comfort during these difficult days. May God see to it that you enjoy a double-hamburger with extra ketchup and a super-sized order of french fries to go with it. I send my love and hugs from many miles away with a tear in my eye as I type this note knowing how you must be feeling. Thank you for being so positive and brave. It gives others, like me, a reason not to be afraid when our time comes. His Peace!

Tammy Faye -

You have far more courage than anyone I've ever seen. Bless you for being such an inspiration in your life.

I'm sending love and prayers your way!

Dearest Tammy Faye,

I saw your interview on Larry King the other day while at work and was sad to see your struggle but also glad to see that you have been able to put on some weight.

I'm hoping you get that burger and fries very soon... with lots of catsup. And I'm hoping to pick up your book this weekend.

Sending *hugs* to you and lots of love!

God bless and keep you until He brings you home.
Thank you for using your life to spread God's word. I'm sorry that you are in pain; sharing your faith with the world at this time, is a testiment to your dedication to bring as many souls to the Lord as you can. Your legacy will live on, long after you've left this earth. We will help others to know our Lord, Jesus Christ--in whatever way He has planned for us. Thank You for making religion glamorous, and 'popular'; Thank you more, for your public devotion at this most difficult time. May God's Peace Be With You... you've touched more souls than you know

Dear Tammy,
My family became christian in the 80's and the PTL Club was required viewing. I used to be annoyed as a youth to being forced to watch the show until I heard Candy Stanton singing on one episode. The scandal that occurred rocked the christian world and shook alot of peoples faiths. Through out the years I've wandered from God and did my own thing. When I caught a glimpse of you on Larry King I was deeply moved by your struggle with cancer and wept. Seeing you brought back alot of memories from my childhood. It's my sincere hope that suffering diminishes and that your family would be happy in the knowledge that they'll see you again in heaven. God bless.

Dear Tammy Faye:
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Hang in there and continue to beleive God for your healing. I wnat you to know that I am a product of PTL, when I was not saved I began watching PTL and there was a biker's testimony that blessed my socks off and soon after that I got saved. Tammy God is merciful and his mercies are new every morning and great is his faithfulness. I love you with the Love of the Lord.

Dear Tammy Faye,
You were an inspiration to me during a very dark time in my life 20+ years ago. I happened to turn on my tv and saw the PTL club for the first time at a time when I was in great need of some spiritual guidance. I pray that your positive spirit and optimism continue to be without bounds--you've prayed so faithfully for all of us. It is our turn to carry you.

Dearest Tammy....I am not Christian or Hindu or Buddhist or anything, but when I see and hear the faith that you possess, it gives me hope that there is something miraculous beyond this time on earth. Thank you for sharing that with me. Your beauty has touched my heart and my heart wishes only good things for you.

Dear Tammy, I recall seeing you in Hamburger Hamlet at the Palm Desert Mall and at Keedy Restaurant and also many, many times on TV. You are such a positive and bright person. I have been praying for you and thinking of you. My own brother just had cancer surgery and he flew from Iowa to California to have it. He is on a long road to recovery also. He first had cancer when he was only 21 years old and he is now in his later 50's and had to be operated on again. When I think of what great strength and determination he has had to have to endure and go on everyday, I also think of you. I am so happy your loved ones are close by you. I am visiting my son in Iowa now, and we watched you on Larry King talk about what you are going through. Your life and faith and strength, humor, devotion and love are a credit to God, yourself and all humans who struggle everyday. May God be with you as I know he is at all times.

Dear Tammy,
I saw you on Larry King and I was so touched by your words. I have never seen someone like you who has been through all the turmoil you have and still have such a strong faith in the Lord. You are such an inspiration to me and to millions of others. I will pray for your continued healing. I know that when the day comes that you meet your Savior face to face he will say well done good and faithful servant. Please know what you have done for others is an amazing example of Christs love. I wish you all the love and healing. Take care of yourself. I will be praying for you husband and children and grandchildren as well.

I met you by introduction by my father, Bob Millsap, in 1977 at the Ironside Recording Studio, where you were recording your album at the time and I really admire you for your belief in the Lord and your fight against cancer. Bob (my father) died in 2003 of brain tumors and he had a lung removed in 2000. Have your surgeons even considered having you undergo a lung reduction or transplant? I know you remember my dad and how he was not very religious at the time, but in the last few years of his life he found our Lord as have I. I pray for you every day and wish you the best. I hate it that you suffer with pain but remember that Christ, our Lord, suffered the most. And I rest assured that the Lord Almighty will grant you, Tammy Faye, the best, most adorned place in heaven. I praise you for the witessing you have done here on Earth and I know you will be out of pain and in Paradise when your struggle is over. I think you are one of the most courageous women I have ever known and I am very proud that I met you that day my dad introduced you to me. God Bless You, wonderful Angel!!!-Angela Millsap

Ever since I saw you on Larry King last week one could not help from admiring your gifted presense on his show that evening. To kno how sick you are and yet you honored us by giving that interview. In between commericals I prayed for you and have been ever since. From my heart, you are the best & finest example to the world & the body of Christ. Your physical message and words of hope were the best anyone could see in a fighting ,battling Christian seeking their healing. You are courageous, strong, ANOINTED, full of love , full of kindness and so brave. Thank you for your shining example. I pray it is not time for you to go home because we need you. Thank you for always being there for everyone with your grace and beauty.God Bless you and your family.

WoW Tammy- thanks for keeping your head up in the midst of all this. I loved when you said that you didn't want to know how much time the Doctors are giving you....That you didn't want to "Shake your Faith". Man what a statement, it gives strenght to those of us as belivers and encourages the non-believers.

Yuppie I'm from the Philippines - and was a fan of yours while you were on Surreal Life (caught the reruns over winter). Who would've known you would touch this yuppie via cable TV? At any rate, I just wanted to say I have you in my prayers. You have so such a gentle, compassionate spirit - and we may not be of the same faith or tradition, but I have you in my prayers. All my love - from my heart to yours. God bless.

Dearest Tammy;

For me, your eyes have always been a window to your beautiful soul. A soul filled with love, compassion, faith and unbelievable courage. I have no doubt that you walk every day in the light of God's love and that love will always be with you. I thank you for sharing your heart with the world and send prayers and blessings your way to you and your sweet family. God Bless you, for you are indeed an angel. Love always!
Tammy, I knew of you but never really got to know you except for The Surreal Life - you made that show - you were my favorite house mate. You handled yourself with Grace and Dignity - especially now facing this illness. I believe that you will get better and I believe that you will get to eat your hamburger and french fries. Many thoughts and prayers are with you. All the best to you pretty lady!
