Tammy you are an inspiration. Thank you for your work for the Lord and the kindness of your heart. For God used you many years ago when I was a young seeking Christian to lead me to the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and a greater understanding of Jesus' love.God bless you always and keep you safe. Today I am also in ministry. Thank you for your contribution to my life and the lives of others.May you continue and be given strength for this hour of your life and work.

Years ago, I used to watch you & Jim Baker and frankly, I thought you were just full of it. I laughed at you and made fun of you. I didn't think your faith was real.

I am so ashamed of ever doing that and want to apologize to you. You are the real deal, one of the Greats. Your courage, your spirit, you are an inspiration. Please accept my heartfelt apology and know that I and so many others are praying for you and love you very much.

Dear Tammy:
I have know of you since I was a little kid, and now being 31, I am very saddened by your health. Growing up, I didn't know much about you, just that you were very religious and I thought that was weird. Through the years I have followed the path of your life up until this point. I got to know you on the Surreal Life and was mesmerized about the kind hearted REAL person you are....... I am happy for you that you are ok with moving on to the next chapter of your life, Heaven. However, I am saddened that you are in suck pain. I wish you all the hapiness on the next path of your journey, and know that YOU are loved, prayed for, and thought of by millions of people, including me. I do hope that through miracles that you recover from this horrific illness and heal. YOU deserve that! The world loves you!

How beautiful you were (and are) on Larry King the other night! I've lived in the desert for over 30 years and have a son around the same age as yours. I saw your son (when he was a child) with his Dad at that great toy store on Palm Canyon Drive, the one with all the trains. I was in there with my son. Of course I recognized them but I'm from the school of 'don't bother famous people'. Especially when having family time. Then, the years flew by and I was shopping at a clothing store in Palm Desert, looked up from the racks and THERE YOU WERE! A few racks of shirts and skirts away. I didn't want to bother you. And now I wish I had. I wish I had given you a BIG HUG. I admired you then for your courage and your spirit in the face of some tough times. And now, in the toughest of times, you are more than ever A SHINNING EXAMPLE! Just the fact that your goodness and kindness is something we all should strive to have truly makes a huge difference in peoples lives. Well, I'm sending you a HUGE HUG NOW! You truly make this world a better place.
Thank you for helping so many people in so many ways.
Your friend,
Nancy

Tammy Faye,
I have always been grateful to you, Jim and PTL because in the 70s you led my grandmother to the Lord. She was homebound and practically bed ridden with lung cancer and unable to go out to church. I had seen your program on television and I remember it was a program where Lulu from HeeHaw gave her testimony. I ran over to my grandmother's house and told her it was going to be shown again that evening. She watched it and told me the next day she accepted Christ! Despite all that happened to you, Jim and PTL, I have always felt your heart was true to God and was very grateful for your ministry and how it blessed my grandmother. I have followed you since then and have been impressed with your firm faith in God and what seemed to me an unshakable positive attitude. I am praying for God to give you his peace and comfort as you go through this difficult time. I just wanted to pass along a story of how you personally touched our family by leading my grandmother to Christ. Thank you and may Jesus bless you.

Tammy, I know you said on Larry King Live that your experience with the PTO was the "worst" in your life. But honestly, I can remember watching you on that show when I was growing up. My faith in the Lord waivered for a short period in my life and it has been renewed in the last couple of years. I will always remember your laugh and your spirit. May God continue to bless your time left on this earth, and bless your family for taking such wonderful care of you. My continued prayers are with you all.

I first really saw you on the Surreal Life. I was truly impressed and inspired by your true example of Christ. You never waivered in your beliefs and were a wonderful example of a woman of God. You touched all of the house guests in a way that I am sure they will never forget. You show the love of Christ and true faith. I will contunue to pray for you daily. You are still a beautiful woman. Even at 65 pounds you still shine! Love and blessings.

When you stood at the microphone in the midst of a news conference during the difficult era of PTL and sang "on Jesus Christ the solid ground I stand, all other ground is sinking sand"...you completely embraced and embodied he faith you have and demonstrated your character. Be well...to sing again and eat that hamburger. Millions love you and always have.

You are such a sweet lady and I have always wanted to "Thank You"so, I'm gonna take a moment to do so, back in 1973 my sister past away, she was only 8 months old and my parents could really not afford to have a funeral service for her but You and Jim did the service for free. That has meant the world to my parents and myself. You also sent Christian children's albums for me. I always wanted to tell you "Thank You". So, you hang in there, I know you are a strong lady, and you will get your hamburger. We love you so very much. Take care, hugs and kisses.

My heart sincerely goes out to you. Your faith has never waivered during your many ordeals and heartbreaks. I just know God will make your eternity blissful. I just want to say Thank You for putting so much happiness into so many people's lives. No matter what your body looks like now, you are still the most beautiful person. I just pray that the pain for you will end soon and if I could I would give you the biggest hug!

May God bless you and your family. You are an inspiration to all. Its funny how things in our life change as we continue to grow in our fathers hands," if we let go and let god", sometimes it very hard to do that. His hands are healing you every minute of the day. He doesn't promise to heal us here on earth but he does promise to heal us. Love K

I'm sure this will never get read. But, that's okay, at least I know I sent her this heartfelt note. Wow, this is taking me forever to try & get a sentence out...I was never a big fan of yours, but, you really well me up! I'm not a crying person, but Tammy my Daddy passed a few years ago of the same thing, maybe I can't say the word. I have become to just love you, and I have an opinion on that ex of yours. Sorry, but I'm my Daddy's clone!
He is the Father of your kids, which makes YOU the Mother of HIS kids!!! He should at least call you, or that other woman call you to tell you how much she's praying for you! I would do it for my Husband's ex. I'm just a female from small town Johnson County IL. Tammy, bless your heart, you may be weak right now..but the people that love you that are strong...we'll carry you in our hearts!
Love You and Always in Our Prayers!, P.S. I bet you're gonna have to make a decision about the crown or the hair when you get UP there!!!!! Love YOU!! Just stack 'em!
