My Mom had colon cancer and passed away 3 years ago at the age of 63. I remember when she and I watched your movie "The Eyes of Tammy Faye" - we both admired your spunk. My Mom had spunk too. Thanks for sharing your spunk and spirit on Larry King Live.

You remind me very much of my grandmother who died of cancer in 2005. Through all her pain and suffering, she never lost her faith in God, never blamed her sickness on him, but loved him til she died. I was angry at God for awhile, and I still miss my grandmother very much but am finding peace. I read your blog when you said that God is never changing, and the fact that you're sick does not alter your faith. Also, I was very happy to hear that you're in Kansas City. God Bless you, and I just wanted you to know that you are very strong and a true messenger of God.

I continue to pray for you, Tammy. You taught me years ago to "run toward the roar". Remember this, and you will be fine.

My heart goes out to you and I pray for you all the time. You are a strong, beautiful Christian woman who many admire and strive to be like. I will keep your family in my prayers as I know from experience what it's like to watch your mother in pain. May God grant you comfort for your pain and please know that we all love you!

Dear Sister Tammy:

I pray that God will do a miracle in your life and strengthen you as you go through your illness. Always remember the battle is not yours, it's the Lord. You have a lot of energy and your spirit seems lifted up. Keep your head up and continue to look to the hills from whence your help comes from. God is watching over you daily, so don't give up! I am praying for you and you will be eating that hamburger and fries with LOTS of ketchup. I pray that your family will find strength in God to keep them strong also. Keep the "FAITH".

I saw you on Larry King, and was stunned to see you so thin and frail. It is good to hear you have not faltered in your faith, and continue to spread God's unwaivering love to others. I will pray for you, and hope that whatever road God has planned for you that those you love here will find comfort in his word and your faith. May God bless you and your family. I hope that in my lifetime I find the faith, courage and strength that you have found. Love you, Tina

You are such an inspiration. You have come through so much adversity with your faith and sense of humor in tact.

You have touched so many...people you would never even have crossed paths with, and showed them grace and Christianity for which I admire you so much.

I pray that the Lord gives you comfort so that you may enjoy the wonderful family that so obviously loves you.

I grew up in the 80's and the main person I remember seeing was no other than Tammy Faye. I can remember thinking what a pretty lady. As I watch the interview with Larry King all I will remember in years to come what a pretty lady. . .both inside and out. When you were on the Sureal Life I thought how cool! This woman can accept anything sent her way. I will always look at you as a fighter and someone I wish to be like. You are so strong! You give all of us inspiration! I will pray for you and will send you all my love! Take care!

Tammy,

As the sun kisses the moon into evening, life breathes slower with the wind;
the star-lit quilt blankets the skies;
and shadows entwine with the night.

Sometimes, it takes a difficult journey for us to become empathetic. You are quite courageous to share your recent health news, and I am hoping the millions of people who are experiencing a similar journey as yours will also receive empathy.

May you and your family have serenity in great abundance.
