Hi Tammy
I just want you to know what a impact you have made in my life...whenever I'm down I sing your song "You Can Make It" it makes me feel so much better. Today I'm singing "You Can Make It" for you..I know you can..I still have my tapes of your "House Party" show from PTL..I recorded those because they came on during my working hours..I still watch them..I would not take anything for those tapes..I have your albums and love dearly..I even dressed like you one Holloween night many many years ago and won 2nd best costume that night..you have always been one of my idols...I have seen you in Marshalls in Matthews and at the flea market at Metrolina but I never had the nerve to speak to you...I whish I had but I certainly will when I see you in heaven.
Thank you Tammy Faye for being Tammy Faye.

I love you so much.

Tammy,

you are a remarkable woman. You are nothing but love, light and tremendous courage. From watching the surreal life, I realized what an increibly emphatheic, sweet woman you are. You are the epitome of love. I will keep you in my prayers always. You are an incredible role model.

Tammy:

I'm another one of the children of the PTL television family. My mother and I would sit in our family room in Indianapolis and watch you and Jim on channel 40. I never knew what it was that drew me to you're ministry, but I now believe it was the truth, honesty and faith that you showed every day.

I fell from organized religion when the "non-denominational mega-church" I belonged to in the Indianapolis area literally locked the doors on me as a young man. But through it all I have followed your struggles and grace through adversity and tried to learn the lessons that you have brought to so many with such dignity and grace.

Tammy, you have touched so many lives in so many communities. I speak of you often with my friends who have never heard of you or only know of you through those crazy "I ran into Tammy Faye at the mall" t-shirts. I do my best to correct their impressions and to tell them about how you have changed my life and found a way for me to maintain my relationship with God, even in my unconventional way.

Your children and grandchildren have been so blessed, and as a child of the PTL generation I want to thank you for the blessing you have brought to me and to so many of the lost souls of this world. You provide inspiration and hope that there is a loving and welcoming side to the church and to God's kingdom.

Many here have listed that they only know of your through The Surreal Life. I admired you for the risks and opportunities that you took to never pass on a chance to live your life as an example and to reach out to all, no matter what the situation. In the face of adversity your were the picture of grace, love and forgiveness.

Tammy you are a true inspiration and a divine messenger from God for so many. I know the Larry King interview was not easy for you, but it buoyed my faith once again to see that there is no adversity that can stop you from your divine calling to reach out to those in need and to preach the word of the true Lord with compassion and concern for others.

My prayers are with you, Roe, and your entire family in hoping that you continue to have the strength to do God's will while here on this earth. You continue to touch and save souls in every moment we are blessed with your presence.

I feel honored to have lived in the presence of such a shining example of God's message of love on this earth.

Dear Mrs. Messner;
I was channel surfing last night and came across your interview with Larry King. I want you to know how moved I was by your courage and by your willingess to set aside what must be unimaginable pain to continue to share your faith and spirit. I'm not an especially spiritual person; I honestly don't know what I believe, but I believe that God, whatever he is, wants us to be good to each other, and I believe you are a true apostle in sharing your goodness.

Dear Sweet Tammy,
I have known God for over twenty years. Love Him dearly as I do you also.Recently I learned of something called The Secret, law of attraction. That has to do with what we think and say becomes our reality. I love you dearly and ask you please think and say health. You know the scriptures I am sure. Saying those everyday absolute but you can call those things as though they were as the Bible says which is the practice of law of attraction. We can have what ever we say and think. As I told you in another letter I wrote you there is a woman by the name of Cathy Goodman who said thank you for my healing everyday and mnay times a day along with watching no negative tv but only comedy. Within three months she was totally healed of cancer. The doctor could find none in her body. This truly works! Being grateful for it now. Many of us are finding that to be true.Your healing is within you. I have learned so about LOA these last few months and have seen it work in my life and others very successfully. We are given the power to have and say what we want. It works though having love for yourself and all others of which I am sure you do. Makes sense for God is Love. If you visualize yourself healed and say thank you for my healing each day as many times as you think of it and dont allow the negativity of being sick be in your mind any longer and do not talk of the illness, I can promise your body will change. You do have that power..remembering what Jesus said about having what ever youy say and also a man is what he thinks. Thoughts become things Tammy. You can change you situation. Please check out the site The Secret for info. This law of God's has been around since the beginning of time. Some of us get distortion due to teachings and such. But truly you can have what ever you want, you can have the abundant life Jesus came to give us. It's up to you to 'change your mind' however, your thought pattern and the words you say are vey powerful, take it from somone who knws this personally. This info has been on both Oprah and Larry King. If you do a search you will find much about law of attraction online. Have someone do that for you? I have learned so much about this through some great LOA teachers, Carole Dore'. John Randolph Price and others. There people are Godly people and teach first and foremost of having God and love working within. Loving yourself and all others and then there is nothing you can not accomplish, if you want.
Much Love, Linda
Praying for you.
Much Love, Linda

God bless you and yours during this time. I had brain and spinal surgery in 2004 and have struggled with severe pain ever since and my doctor put me on a fentanyl pain patch and it has worked when nothing else has and I am so grateful to be able to function now. I know God is watching over you every second of every minute and is holding you in His arms. Your neverending faith throughout all that has come your way is truly an inspiration. Lots of sincere love and best wishes for you. And know that you have helped so many. Big hugs to you!!

feel that God directed me to Larry King Show last night, I never watch his show but, I was so greatful God guided me to you. I have loved you since I first watched you and Jim preaching in your home before you started Hertiage USA. My mother had passed from cancer just before and I was praying to God to help me find a way to get through my grief. One day i was channel flipping and struck on your program. I knew I had found what I needed in my life. I remained faithful to you and Jim even after PTL fell. I never blamed you or Jim and I contributed until the end. I still have many things I recieved from your ministry and I treasure them all. But, the most valuable thing I have is all of your records, and Tammy though I know that God is calling you home. I will still have a part of you with me. I pray for you every night and I know that I know God is with you, and you will be with Him. Your appearance on Larry King gave me and opportunity to see you one last time and though I hope you will not be leaving soon, because of my own mother I understand the pain you are in. My mother had a great love for God and trusted him fully. She ask only one thing in her life from us and that was to let her die with dignity. The night she died I know that heaven was just above our heads. Although, she was in a coma, before she died we all said a pray for her. Suddenly she opened her eyes and looked around the bed one by one at everyone there. I was the last person she saw and I was the closest; she knew my heart would be broken. I knew has much as I loved her I had to be strong. So when she looked at me I was able to say "It's ok to go mom, God is waiting for you. She smiled and took her last breath and just as she did I saw a Hand reach down from heaven and take hers. Until I found you I had no one who helped me hold onto God and to understand his will. I had lost the best friend I ever had, but, I know today that I will join her and God when my time comes.

One last thing Tammy, I have lived with a saying you may have forgotten even saying on PTL but I want to send what you gave me to live my life for God back to you.

"Faith is climbing up a tree, crawling out on a limb, sawing off the limb and watching the tree fall down. "That's Faith!"
God
Bless You Tammy, without knowing it you became a mom to me. so much about you reminder me of her. But, this time when my second mom goes I will know how to handle it. "With Trust in the Lord'

I look forward to meeting you in heaven one day.

Love Always

Hi Tammy,

I seen you on Larry King, what a strong woman you are!! I am sure it was tiring for you to do that interview. But it was a great testimony of the grace and power of our God! Your strong faith is an inspiration, I myself am still a baby Christian having given myself to the Lord last year. I am praying for you, and one day I hope to hear that you were able to say "bring on the ketchup!!"

Tammy,
I know you are okay, but I want to let you know that you have really touched my heart. I love the Lord, but I have been very neglectful of him. I see your faith, and it makes me want to be close to Him again. You are truly an inspiration and this message is from the very bottom of my heart-I hope with all that I am... I will see you in Heaven. I know you will be there and I pray that you will see me there-I Love You!

My dear Tammy Faye- I saw you on Larry King last night, and despite your hardships, you NEVER looked more beautiful!!! Your spirit is AWESOME!! I only hope that when your "transition" comes, that you will merely close your eyes, then immediately open them in the arms of our Lord Jesus! If anyone deserves to see the face of God, it is YOU!! Stay strong in your faith and say hello to the Lord for me when you are sitting by the river with him. Much love to you, and your family. Continued prayers are ASSURED! Love, Eric
