I was so sad to hear that you were gone, but now you are with the Lord forever....no more pain or suffering, and that brings joy to my soul. I never got a chance to meet you in person but we will when I get to heaven. God bless your family always!

I am so sad that you are gone-I really thought that you were going to beat that cancer and stay around for awhile. Well you did beat it and I know that you are doing amazing things in heaven now. I will love and miss you dearly even though I never met you, you are a great example of what we should be as Christians.

Roe and family= Tammy was the greatest. My husband got his vision to help the hurting ministers after seeing Jim speak right out of prison. Has anyone asked, if and when you are ready to part with one of Tammy's little dogs, she seemed to always have some sweet white thing in her lap; we are animal lovers and would love her with all we have, write me, it will help us both.

Hey, I just wanted to tell the whole family that I'm praying for you during the time of grief and thanksgiving for such a special woman. God is with you guys, and He was sure with Tammy. Be encouraged that she's in good hands. -God bless

Woe to the world, that we will no longer have your smiling face to see, your laugh to hear and your light to shine love, compassion and understanding on those of us who need you so much. May you rest in peace, dear lady, with your Creator whom you love so much, and that you have brought others to love as well.

Today a friend sent me an email that reminded me so much of Tammy Faye and her beautiful attitude about life that I just had to share it with you all over here. I feel Tammy over my shoulder smiling as I do this (I miss you,Tammy, but feel you are with us in so many ways because we loved you so much. I love opening this website and seeing your beautiful smile..It makes my day!) Now here's the email:

The 10 steps to happiness:
1. Plant something and nurture it

2. Count your blessings - at least five - at the end
of each day

3. Take time to talk - have an hour-long conversation
with a loved one each week

4. Phone a friend whom you have not spoken to for
a while and arrange to meet up

5. Give yourself a treat every day and take the time to
really enjoy it

6. Have a good laugh at least once a day

7. Get physical - exercise for half an hour three times a
week

8. Smile at and/or say hello to a stranger at least once
each day

9. Cut your TV viewing by half

10. Spread some kindness - do a good turn for someone
every day

God Bless You

God allowed you to witness one last time before he took you by the hands up to Heaven. His strength allowed you to speak to the entire country on Larry King Live; His love endured and you were able to testify to His goodness. I picture you now, singing and praising His glory for an audience of all saints! They are all smiling at your faithfulness.

What a message of hope and assurance Tammy gave to me during her struggle with cancer. I have rarely seen this kind of bravery and faith in this age.

I have admired you through your struggle for so many years and you remain an inspiration to me as I struggle with my own demons and illness. Fear and disquiet are so quick to come when health dwindles, yet somehow you prevailed.

I have actually known you since I was a child, though you probably wouldn't have remembered me if we met. I attended many early PTL events and later at Heritage USA. I feel like I grew up along with your kids. They have both made you so proud, I am sure. I especially admire Jamie Charles' inclusive and truly Christ-like approach to his ministry. It is a rarity and he really takes after you in that respect.

At this point in my life I am having a crisis of faith but you will always remain in my heart and memory as a woman who kept a true love for the Lord through even the most unimaginable times - not as a crutch, like people often do - but because He was your life's natural source and you simply knew no other way to live.

Bless you. I will pray for your family and perhaps we we meet again at some point?

Amazing, strong, godly woman.
I prayed that she would be healed and whole on this earth. I truly believed that would happen. I am sorry that it did not and that she has gone to be with the Lord. I am looking forward to meeting her in the promised land someday. Tammy will be greatly missed. She showed love, compassion and respect to people that needed it the most. She was one of the great Christians...living what she believed.

To Tammy's family. Tammy taught me to be happy during difficult times. I was recently going through a break up with someone I have been friends with since childhood and ended up married. It breaks my heart for our relationship to end, and to see my ex wife fading further and further away even as a friend. When I am so sad and feeling depressed I remember what Tammy always said about if life hands you a lemon, make lemonaide. I now know that the lemons can only be sweetened by having God in your life. Thank you Tammy for such powerfull lessons!

God Bless You!

Tammy's appearance on "Larry King Live" was both heartbreaking and inspiring. she seemed to have loved unconditionally and her positive, fun attitude was infectous!! Although i do not "practice" under the label of any particular religion...i have taken what my spirit needs from lessons passed and have learned the greatest, most important thing we can learn is unconditional love.
I do believe we don't disappear into oblivion after we pass, we shed this encumbersome shell and move forward to the next journey.
We who are left behind for the time being, experience the pain, so for the family i send them a prayer. For Tammy Faye, i know that she is rejoicing and pain-free.
She left her mark...her laughter...and her love.

Although you will never see this, maybe your family will. I want to say that I am so sorry for all the things your family went through, being a preacher's kid...I totally understand. I grew up listening to your music, and of course singing it in church. I would stay up late with my grandma to watch PTL. I will never meet you on this earth, but someday, I may meet you in Heaven. You were an inspiration. Roe, Tammy and Jamey, I am truly sorry for your loss.

To Tammy Faye's family:
HOLD US UP LORD
Lord, we know you're always busy for you've many things to do, but when sorrow overcomes us, well, we need to talk to you. For we've lost someone PRECIOUS and she's with you there above. She's someone that we needed, and she's someone that we loved. We are feeling lost and all alone, and though we do believe, we need you, Lord,to hold us up. To help us while we grieve. PLEASE, give us strength and courage,Lord, to bear what we must bear. And nudge us when our Faith is weak to remind us YOU ARE THERE. Give us Hope for our tomorrows. Tell us Life will still go on. Show us, Lord, that all this darkness will be followed by the dawn. You've led us through so many things. You've pulled us through before. HOLD US UP LORD til we're through this and we are strong once more.
God Bless You All !!!!!

What a Saint! Oh Tammy I loved going to PTL and listening to the Word you always spoke. Was there every Sunday! What a peaceful place!! You were always such an inspiration to me. Thank you Tammy. Thank you for being the true woman all of us women should be. What a Lady!!! Oh! Save me a hamburger!!

I REMEMBER WATCHING TAMMY ON PTL AND THINKING HOW PRETTY SHE ALWAYS LOOKED. I REMEMBER HOW VERY SAD I FELT WHEN SOME PEOPLE IN THE CHRISTIAN WORLD WERE SO HARD ON YOU. I NEVER COULD UNDERSTAND THAT BEING A CHRISTIAN MYSELF. YOU HANDLED YOURSELF WITH SUCH DIGNITY AND GRACE DURING YOUR SICKNESS. I SAW YOUR LAST INTERVIEW WITH LARRY KING AND WAS MOVED TO TEARS, BUT STILL BELIEVED THAT GOD COULD AND WOULD HEAL YOU! WELL, HE DID, ONLY HE CHOSE TO TAKE YOU TO HEAVEN TO HEAL YOU. SO YOU WON EITHER WAY. WHAT A WONDERFUL SPIRIT YOU HAD WHEN YOU AND ROE TAPED THAT INTERVIEW. I AM SAD THAT YOU ARE GONE BUT REJOICE THAT YOUR PAIN AND SUFFERING HAS ENDED AND YOU ARE NOW WITH JESUS WHO YOU LOVED AND SERVED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL EXAMPLE AND FOR BEING FAITHFUL TO THE LORD TILL THE END. GOD BLESS YOUR HUSBAND ROE, AND CHILDREN TAMMY SUE AND JAMIE.

I remember I song you used to sing "We are blessed"
Tammy you might have been mis-understood and poked fun at by comedians, however we were truly "blessed" to have you on this earth.
