I used to watch PTL while drinking and getting high, only to laugh. I watched Jim and Tammy fall and took self-righteous pride in their plight. Later, when I opened my eyes and mind, I saw the caring, loving person that Tammy was - I felt shame. She spoke out to my friends and peers who were dying of AIDS, when no one else would. I only hope I can be in Heaven with her one day, so I can hear her laugh again.

Thank you for reminding us that walking with God does not mean that there will not be pain---it does mean that we a comforter who will be with us in the trial--and bring us home at the appointed hour. No Tammy Faye, the devil did not get the victory---Rest peacefully in the bosom of our God--you deserve it.

To Tammy's family, because Tammy is in heaven with our Lord. Hearing Tammy's testimony over the past few years has really convinced me that she was truly a sincere child of God. Mr. Messner, her strength was conveyed in you, as evidenced by your demeanor during your tv interviews. God bless your family, and we will all see each other in heaven.

I never thought much about Jim and Tammy when they were involved in PTL, but followed what happened to them, or her after he went to jail. She went on and made a life for herself and still spread the word of the lord. It wasn't until I knew she was sick, and until just last week when the show was on tv about her battle with cancer and her battle with chemo. That show was so nice and showed what a great normal funny, sweet, down to earth person she really was. I laughed, I cryed, and wished she could have beat that cancer, but.... I lost my mom 3 years ago and to her children, I know how you feel right now because I feel the same way. You will not really believe it for about a year , and one day you realize wow, mom is gone, I miss her so much, but she is with the lord and all other family members that have gone before. She was one in a million and she is where she knew she would be at the end. Peace to her husband and family.

May God bless and comfort Tammy Faye's family and friends. My fondest memory is of her powerful, annointed voice bellowing from that tiny little body. I'll bet you are the lead singer in Heaven...rest well my sister.

Hello Tammy, I did get to meet you at the Southern Christmas show in Charlotte N.C. It was so nice to meet you.I'm so sorry you had to go through this tragic battle with cancer. Chemo. is such an awful thing to go through in life. I know it is a awful because I watched my mother battle lung cancer for 3 years and she really never got to experience the re emission part. All you can do is fight and fight and pray and hope God will help you through this tragic disease. Nobody knows until they see loved ones suffer or even if they go through the battle of cancer. I know that you are in a better place and you are looking down to your loved ones and your fans that have followed your life and you will take care of them. But one day we will join all of our loved ones in Heaven and we can talk and laugh about things. God Bless you and your Family. They will make it though this tragic time and they will remember you everyday because I sure do miss my mom. I wish I just could talk to her but I know she can hear me when I do speak to her in heaven. God Bless to the Family.
Love Tammy

We are so sorry about Tammy passing away
She was a breathing angel here on earth.
We can almost vision Tammy Faye in heaven, walking on streets of gold,
singing "We're Blessed" You all and thousands of us christians all over the world kept praying for her healing, WELL
she's got her healing now, no more
pain or suffering for her.
Roe, we saw your interview last evening and this evening on The Insider with
Jann Carl and you looked so bad, drained
which is understabdable because you
worried so much about Tammy when she was
so sick. We have read most of the condolences written in on "Tammy's Good Wishes" and we read a poem on there today that is so beautiful, if you Tammy
Sue and Jamie Charles haven't read it I
hope you do, it was written in by a lady
Doris Howard in Tucson, Az. It is the
most beautiful poem we have ever read.
Take care of yourself and God bless you.

I would see Tammy browsing at the Matthews Steinmart or Target. One sunny Sunday afternoon, my husband and I saw Tammy and Roe at the Matthews Home Depot looking for ferns.
Tammy always looked so pretty when she was out.
You both were our local personalities, Tammy more so than you Roe. You were the silent, giant in her life.
What a glorious place she is at now. Isn't that the way it should be.....

Well.. I never knew who this wonderful women was until I was up late one night watching larry king and saw her with her husband on there.. I was amazed to see her still holding on and saden to see her suffering as she was. but her spirt seemed bright through it all and it made me look-up on her.. I see how good her children have been to her especially young Tammy.. My heart goes out to the family and may Tammy Faye be remembered for her kind soul. Rest in Peace

I miss you, Miss Tammy! You were such an inspiration. I always referred to you as "my girl". I would see your picture in a magazine or see you on TV and call out, "There's my girl!". I have such admiration for you. I can still hear you singing, "If it had not been for the Lord on my side". That song has given me alot of strength ove the years and only you can do it justice. God bless you always.

My deepest sympathies to Miss Tammy's family. You are truly blessed to have shared life with such a dynamic person. Treasure your memories of her.

What an inspiration you've been to me. I never stopped praying for you, and always believed in a miracle, but I'm absolutely convinced you're together with our Lord. How I'll miss your smile and sense of humor, yet in my heart, even though we've never met, I'll always keep the sunny outlook on life, you portrayed with so much grace and dignity. Your family, though grieving your loss, can rest in the peace of knowing how very much you are loved. My prayers are with all of them. I just know you're in heaven, singing with the choirs of angels, because dear Tammy you allowed us to see what angels really look like. Much love to your family.

My wife and I have been following Tammy's brave fight with cancer. As Christians, we are thankful that she is with Jesus now. Just thought I would drop you a note of encouragement and since we share the same name, which is very rare, may God give you and your family strength during this time. May His peace and love be with you all.

Roe, Tammy Sue, and Jay, you are all a wonderful tribute to a great lady. You were always there to encourage her to be herself. Tammy Faye has left a legacy to many people and her life influenced multitudes in a positive way. Her life goes on through each of you and she will continue to bless people in her new life with Jesus. She has finally found her true identity and total acceptance. You have many wonderful memories of a special and loving person. Thank you for sharing her with my family and with the entire world. I know you will continue to do so. Tammy Faye's life will still have meaning with the people she loved and those who loved her. Count us as one of many people who loved your wife and your mother.

MAY GOD BLESS TAMMY FAYE'S FAMILY DURING THIS TIME OF SADDNESS. BUT IT IS ALSO A DAY OF REJOICING, BECAUSE TAMMY GOT THE BEST HEALING OF ALL. BEING IN THE PRESENSE OF JESUS. TO SEE THE LOVE OF JESUS THAT HE GIVES WHEN WE STAND BEFORE HIM. I LOST A NIECE IN 1981 TO A BRAIN HEMMORAGE.THE NIGHT SHE DIED JESUS GAVE ME VISION OF HER AND HIM STANDING SIDE BY SIDE, LOOKING AT EACH OTHER. THE LOVE I SAW I HAVE YET TO DESCRIBE TO ITS FULLEST MEASURE. THAT COMFORTED ME MORE THAN ANYTHING HERE ON EARTH DID.
