Dear Tammy...you have been in my thoughts these past few days. I used to have all of your albums on vinyl from the PTL days. When we were moving, from the apartment, into our home, a neighbor offered to help move us...and, for some reason, took all of my Gospel albums, including yours, and tossed them into the dumpster, without my knowledge. After settling in to our house, I couldn't locate my records and then in a phone call to him, he admitted throwing them out. I am still heart sick that I no longer have your albums; especially now, being recently disabled by multiple sclerosis and no longer able to walk outside independently. I have your mailing address and will be writing to you. When I am able to afford to, I would like to order your music on CD's. I just had my yearly physical and following my pelvic exam was sent to a specialist to have a biopsy to check for cancer. I'm awaiting the results. Naturally I am afraid. My mom, her twin sister, THEIR mom, and HER mom, all died of cancer. I refuse to have it! Tammy, I am praying for you, hon...you are a beautiful soul with a beautiful voice that always ministered to me, and I will be happy to have your cd's to minister to me again. Though winning my disability hearing, I am still being denied disability benefits. Incredible! So it will be awhile before I can afford to order your cd's. Tammy, the LORD, our God, Jesus, is touching you with His healing hand and His Holy Spirit is giving you His perfect peace. He loves us so, so much. You are loved. God's Blessings!

Tammy--

Although I have been involved in Christian ministry for over 30 years, it took seeing you on "The Surreal Life" for me to realize how judgemental I can be. I have tried to change my attitude about a lot of things (and people) in the past few years since viewing this reality show. The Christian community as a whole could certainly benefit from taking your approach to a non-judgemental and forgiving attitude--not because "Tammy Faye" does it this way, but because Tammy Faye takes the approach I'm sure Jesus would (and does) take. I pray regularly for your health.

Don't laugh, but you were present at one of the scariest times of my life. I was up, early one morning, feeding my new born son and I "discovered" Tammy Faye. I was a single mother and YOU told me that I would be okay. You were speaking directly to me but to your audience. I felt it just the same. Fast forward several years and there you are on Surreal life. What a joy it was to get to know another Tammy Faye. Thank you for being you.

Dear sweet Tammy,
I have been praying for you and I just wanted to tell you how much your life has meant to me. I have followed you since the PTL Club days and still adore you. I know you have the most precious walk with Jesus & you have always encouraged others to seek Him for themselves. You are and have been a mighty inspiration to so many people. God's blessings on you and your precious family. I love you Tammy....always.

Dearest Tammy,

Don't give up on the brink of your miracle. I pray for your healing everyday. You have always and will always be a source of spiritual inspiration to me and my family.
Your unconditional love for all people, especially the gay community, is a reflection of GOD's love. My son saw you at a Derby event in Louisville, KY and was so touched by your outreach and compassion.

GOD BE WITH YOU!

Dear Miss Tammy,

Just read your poem "Why?". You know something, you do a very nice job with your makeup. Whoever makes comments otherwise obvisously is so unhappy with themselves that they feel the need to try to bring you down. I really do hope that you don't take those comments to heart. Whenever I've seen you, you always look lovely. ... You're in my prayers. God bless you with health, happiness and relief from pain. ... Thanks for being an inspiration and wonderful example of kindness and love to us all.

Dear Tammy Faye,
I watch TBN through the internet a lot and that's how I also saw your interviews with Paul Crouch Jr. You definately belong to "MY TBN-family in the US" and I want to say that I like and love you very much and that I will pray for you now you're so ill. Wish you God's PEACE! With Love, Esther

Dear Tammy,

I just finished listening to your interview with the younger Crouch and heard you talking about "waiting" on the Lord. You said that you were waiting for Him to heal you and I was nothing less than astounded.

Years ago, Tammy, I heard a wonderfully wise old minister talk about "waiting" on the Lord, and he said that the meaning of that phrase is not that we are to wait for God to do something, but rather it means that we are to wait on God in the sense of SERVING HIM. As a restruant waiter waits on his customers by serving them their food, so also should we all wait on the Lord by serving Him in vital ways every day. In your particular case, that means you should wait on God by actively seeking to find effective healing for your body so you can live on. God is no fool. He does not want to lose one of His most valuable servants. You must, therefore, become extremely busy waiting on God right now in the true, valid biblical sense.

God does not want you to die. He wants ALL his people to live and be in health--and you are no exception. Satan and he alone wants you to die, but it is your solumn duty, Tammy, as a follower of Christ to see that his will does not prevail over that of our God who wants you to be restored to perfect health. God has made a way for victory through the physical ministry of great holistic doctors, some of whom are servants of Christ just as are you and I. Tammy, you do not have to die if you will get off the "waiting" couch (which is really a slaughtering pen) to which Satan has chained you for such a long time. God would have you stand tall, as tall as a little lady can, and get with His program for your health and healing as I did when faced with my own death many years ago. I learned God's principles of health so well then that, at 72, I am in robust good health as I continue to minister spiritual and physical life to many. It is well to remember that our ministry to people in need here on earth comes to a screeching halt along with our opportunity to gain heavenly rewards when we leave here to live with Jesus. What an immense tragedy for the world!

Regaining one's health requires discipline, Tammy, but we should not be too cowardly to fight on to victory using God's true and effective, natural, non-pharmaceutical methods. Satan's cancer (and your cancer came directly from the hand of Satan) is easy to cure, Tammy, when approached correctly by a real doctor using God's means and methods. Remember that well, sweety.

Yours friend in Christ,

Colin Cody

tammy, you have really been on my mind recently and i wanted to share these thoughts. after having grown up in the church, i was "out in the world" for a number of years. then, a friend wanted me to hear this song she was going to sing at her church. i was not familiar with it and one morning she called and said, turn to PTL, this lady is singing that song. it was you singing, if it had not been for the Lord on my side. i was so touched and inspired by your singing that i started watching PTL every day. i never sent any money nor purchased any offers but i credit PTL with starting me on my way back to the Lord. i thank God, you (and jim) for that. to God be the glory! tammy, i'm sure i'm not the only person grateful for your ministry and it is a testimony to who, what, when, where, and how God gets our attention. i mention you in my prayers often and will continue to do so. i saw you last during a tbn praise-a-thon and it was such a blessing. i love you, your music, and i thank God for your ministry. continue to trust God and stand on His promise. it is well!

Tammy, the interview you did with Paul Crouch Jr in person, was an interview I will never for get my entire life. Jesus presence was so strong that I couldn't keep the emotion down. I saw a glimse of Jesus and his love that I hadn't seen since I was a teen. I'd drifted away from that close relationship with Christ--you brought back a special picture of what it was like to have that special presence of Jesus in your life==thank you love & prayers

Dear Miss Tammy,
I love your poem "The Makeup Store". I copied and saved it. There has been only one or two days in my whole life that I went out of the house without makeup since I was about 15 years old - I'm 38 now. Your poem touches me very much. ... I am praying for you for relief from pain and restoration of health. And I thank you for the light and love you have brought to the world. God bless you and keep you. You are beautiful!
