Dear Tammy,
It was not until watching you on The Surreal Life was I aware of you and the great things you have done not only for the church, but for people in general. Your kind heart has truly inspired me. Your faith for god, and your respect for others is something that we should all take note of. I know that you have gone through a lot in you life, but you have pushed through those obstacles and have come out on top. You are in my prayers, and I know that you will push through this. I just want you to know that you have inspired me to live a better life in the name of the lord, and I thank you.

Dear Tammy, I am sorry to hear about your bout with cancer, and to see you in failing health. I think so often, that regardless of what has happened in your life, it is apparent that you love Jesus. He will not "forget your labor of love." I can still see you singing, "If it had not been for the Lord, on my side, tell me where would I be, where would I be." He is still on your side.

I was born March 7, 1929; we share the date, not the year, but prestigious people were born on the 7th of March. (smile) I have another friend here in San Antonio, that was born on March 7th.

I pray God's blessings on you, and Jesus will be with you, and never leave you as He promised. Blessings, Mildred

Dearest Sister Tammy,

I remember watching you back in the 70's before I received Christ into my heart and then after 1979 when I became a Believer. You are such a Treasure, Tammy. Thank you for exhibiting the Grace and Mercy of Jesus, even now in your Entertainment Tonight interview, always lifting up the Banner of our Precious Jesus. I praise the Lord for you, Sweet Sister. And in doing that reality show, you showed them what they needed ~ Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord that you were willing to be used to minister to those people, at the risk of being personally ridiculed, you considered it your reasonable service. And, as you battle this Enemy I know you are more than a Conqueror through Him Who Loved You!

If we don't meet down here on Earth, I really hope I get the chance to meet you in Heaven, you Sweet Little Thing!!!!

Big Hugs to You and I will continue to pray for God's Perfect Will for Your Life and Healing.

Dear Tammy, I hope today finds you feeling comfortable. I found this writing in an old book of mine and thought you might like it. "Stay with me Lord, the night is dark, the night is cold....My little spark of courage dies----the night is long--Be with me God and make me strong".

Hello Tammy,
I am listening to your album "Don't Give Up!" from 1985 as I write this. I am glad you are not giving up the fight. Maybe you should play this album of yours too. It is very helpful! The song "God Will Oulast Your Storm" is just ending now. Thank you for recording it back in 1985! And thank you Tammy for not judging people for who they are. You are a beautiful person Tammy with a warm, pure heart.

Dear Tammy,

I want you to know that I think you are an "AWESOME!" person! I've been to PTL when I was a teenager, a friend lived down the road from ur office :)

My favorite 4th of July was spent there! I was lucky enough to be in the area when you opened the Upper Room.. That was so beautiful, you could feel a cool refreshing breeze and the feeling that you really aren't alone when you were there. I got a miracle there, and haven't had another ear infection agin like I had when I was younger! Thank God!

Your compassion showed we know it wasn't fake like soo many others. You truly care and are what you see! I admired your ability to tell it like it was tears streaming down your face and still you talked never covering how much you felt, how deep your love goes.

I never wanted to leave when I was there :) I felt more at home then I did in my own house. And it was all because of you!

You can make it, Tammy!

You have my prayers, my love, and my respect.
Your Friend and Sister in Jesus,
Shirley

I remember the 80"s. Our son was 6 when we visited PTL(water park etc.in the summer and a fast run in December-absolutely wonderful). Our son loved the song "You Believed In Me"and at that time he and I would sing it together(I play piano by ear)and just have a wonderful time worshiping God... Heard the interview with Paul Crouch Jr. and wanted you to know I am praying for you. When I walked that night, I held you up in prayer-you have so much to say, still !!!! I loved you then and I love you today(as do my neighbor Linda. She and I both are asking the Lords will to be done for you. Keep up the faith Tammy.
As always in Christ

Dear Tammy,
I know how very ill you are and I pray each day that the Great Healer will heal you for your sake, the sake of your family but mostly that through your healing the world would see the glory of God and believe.

I always supported you and Jim. I was saddened that Satan destroyed things. I am sorry that this is happening to you now. My mom, who was 87 when she died, taught me how to die gracefully -the last great love gift from her. She couldn't reach the masses like you can. You are showing us how to live every second of our lives with hope and dignity and some humor; living in the here and now; and knowing that when it's time to go "home" Our Savior holds us through it all. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind.

Hi Tammy Faye! I just finished reading your book "I will survive...and you will too" and it was like having lunch with a dear old friend. I could not put it down! Your strength and courage and honesty is an inspiration to me. You model Christianity in a way that makes me think "I want what she has". No hypocracy, no pretence...you walk the walk and talk the talk. Thanks for being real, thanks for not judging, and thanks for being a very special role model in my life, oddly enough, without ever meeting you! I take that back, I did meet you briefly when you taped the pilot for Jim J. and Tammy Faye, but it was a quick hello. I used to be a producer in secular TV and I left the industry to be with my Mom who had been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. I now teach video production to at risk high schoolers and I must say I LOVED your chapter of shopping in the Palm Desert Mall and taking the four high school boys to lunch at Marie's. I think everyone need to "talk teenager" for an hour! What an amazing luncheon for those boys! I would have loved to have been there too! :) You are in my thoughts and prayers now, and always. God Bless my Sister,
Lisa
