To Tammy's children and husband and their families - you have my sympathy and love. I cared for my biological mother for a month while she was dying of lung cancer. It was not pretty, nor easy.
I watched Tammy since the PTL days and no matter what was going on around Tammy, her faith carried her through and out to many of us who needed her kind of faith as strength for ourselves and an example. Her sense of humor and ability to laugh at herself were so sweet and endearing. God bless you all now, and in the future. We will miss Tammy Faye, but God and His Angels are rejoicing because of her Homecoming.

I remember watching Tammy Faye on tv on the PTL club when I was home sick from school in the 1980's and how encouraged I always felt in the Lord. I was so happy to see her again years later on that talk show she co-hosted although I can't remember the name(those two were so cute together!). And Tammy Faye blessed my heart when I watched her interact with love and kindness with her housemates on the Sureal Life, a true Christian witness. Tammy Faye was a shining example of faith in God.

WOW! The outpouring of love for you is amazing, and every bit deserved. You touched so many lives. I am amazed how profoundly you have touched mine. I am not a particularly religious person, but your love of god and all humanity --
even those that other "Christians" shun -- was breathtaking to witness. I hope all your millions of admirers follow in your path and embrace all their brothers and sisters, no matter what their life style or beliefs. You have gone to your reward in heaven, and it is more glorious than any of us can imagine. God bless you, Tammy Faye, we will remember you for so much more than your eyelashes!

To Tammy's Family:
I just wanted to express my deep appreciation for the time that the Lord gave her here on earth and to tell you that having had a "near death" experience when I was 18, I believe that she was received at Heaven's Gates by The Lord with outstretched arms and the most peaceful, smiling face that she has ever seen. I hope you all have found the comfort that comes with knowing she is with The Lord and continuing her works in Heaven!
Despite all the turmoil that occurred with PTL and Heritage USA, Tammy always remained upbeat and positive and never lost her Faith in Our Lord. Yes, there were tears at times but, the clouds over her were always a short time span as she battled on through life and through her illness. God did not take her until it was her time - despite what doctors told her through her 10 year battle with cancer.
I saw her last interview with Larry King the Thursday night before she died.
She was right in her thoughts about not going by what doctors told her and not wanting them to give her a time frame.
As thin as she had become from the toll on her body, her love of the Lord and her heart still made her look larger than life! I know her positive outlook helped Roe and the rest of her family to make dealing with her illness easier. She always worried more about others than herself and she struck me as being that way since the early days when I first started watching PTL and Tammy Faye.
May Your Faith and the Faith that Tammy had sustain all of you through this time.
May God Bless You All,
Billie, Wayland, Mass.

I like so many others, I'm sure wish we could be even just a little like Tammy. Through it all she was so brave and never gave up her self and her love and devotion to God. I am so thankful she was on this earth and showed so many thousands of us what Real Love of God is all about. She will continue to touch ours lives by her sprit that will be with us always.
We will miss her more than we know.
Thank you God for bringing Tammy Faye into our lives.

Dear Friend,
I have carried my Tammy Faye story for over 20 years. That day- way back in the 80's when I was flipping channels on TV and I heard this beautifiul voice ( I did not know who it was ) and went back quickly- there you were , singing "Mountain Get Out Of My Way". This song became my mantra and has stayed with me. No matter what lifes trials were, when that big old mountain popped up in front of me- it didn't matter if I had to climb the mountain, go around the mountain or shovel right through it- I never, ever let those mountains stand in my way. GoBless You Tammy! You unknowingly have given me the strength to carry on- today and every day. Rest with God, live in love. Your work here is fulfilled. I love you Tammy and was blessed by your presence on this earth.

Tammy Faye was such a Lady. She pulled into my parking spot here in Atlanta years ago.I did not know who she was when she took the spot. I got out further down As I was walking to the mall here comes this lady dressed to the nines Huge sunglasses,She walked right up to me and asked if I had been waiting for the spot she got I said yes but no big deal she even offered to trade I told here no thanks someone would most likely grab one of our spots . She kept telling me she was sorry.I introduced myself she said her name was Tammy and she had to get some clothes for a family vacation I asked where she was going she said Palm Springs. she then took off the sunglasses looked me dead in the eye and said Patrick Jesus loves You talk to him He is waiting for You,it changed my life now forever, I talk to Him everyday,Thanks Tammy Faye

Patrick
p.s. I did not know who she was until she took off the glasses and gave me the message. She patted my hand and walked off singing Yes Jesus Loves Me.

My prayers go out to Tammy Faye as well as her family. I lost my father to lung cancer and it is very heartbreaking to see someone you care about and love suffer. She is in a better place where there is no pain only love. My prayers go out to her family. Tammy Faye will never be forgotten but will live on in beauty forever. God Bless everyone!

I was so sad to hear of Tammy's passing. However, I know that right now she is rejoicing with our Lord and for that, I feel wonderful. I never saw her without a big smile on her face. To her family, just remember that right now and forever she is with her Lord and Savior...... God Bless you

Tammy was a strong woman who had faith like I've never seen. Let's all learn from example and let her great faith be a legacy to the world.

Raised as a Christian, when I discovered I was gay, many of the messages I received from so-called Christians was that I was not welcome to Jesus' loving grace. In their opinion I had fallen and was less than.

Tammy Faye was one of the ONLY voices within the Christian community that instead preached love and compassion for ALL of God's children.

Tammy Faye, I never knew you personally, but your genuine loving compassion truly touched me. You not only talked the talk, but you walked the walk, and for that I thank you. You will forever remain a bright, and shining example of what Christ's love is all about!
