Dear Tammy Faye, I never really believed in much of anything until I saw you on television, many years ago, and your warmth and humor and straight way of talking started putting things in perspective for me. You made God sound real and caring. You have been the best Spokeswoman He could ever have. Your unconditional love for people, animals and everything on this earth has been so inspirational and, your humor and laughter have brought me so many smiles. From one false eyelash gal to another, you are in my prayers, dear Lady!
(Nanuet, NY) are loved and prayed for and about. Stay steady.......ALL of you.

Tammy, I just posted a message for you late last night, and already a dozen people have posted messages since then. Just imagine that you are wrapped in a blanket of prayers from around the world. You're all safe, and loved, at all times!
Prophetess Ashley
I pray that God will ease all of your natural pain and that His Joy will become your strength and may the peace of God that passeth all understanding rest upon you this day and forever more.

Tammy, I am sure that you have gotten your house in order I am sure prehaps you have spoken with Jim about all that you needed to talk about.

My prayer is if there is anything that you haven't yet dealt with please do so now and set yourself free.

Unforgiveness is a killer and a blessing blocker. I know you know God and there is no doubt about it, but I say unto you to forgive yourself and belive that God has too forgiven you. No condemnation!

I love you with all of God's love,
So hurry up and get well so you can tell the world how God brought you out.

All is said with the love of God!

God bless you. You are an inspiration. Thank you
just noticed
To Lynn-I cant get the new Jim Bakker show in my area but on his website he does ask for people to pray for Tammys healing. God Bless you for being concerned though & that just means we all should pray harder. Believe for love & healing & forgiveness & encouragement & the Peace that passeth all understanding. Remember man will fail you all the time but ONLY JESUS NEVER FAILS.

I wish you well and I know God will answer prayers. It was you and Jim that influenced me in my decisions to follow Christ back in the 70's. Thank you for your witness.

You were really on my heart this morning in prayer. As I was praying for you, an old hymn came to mind. "As I journey thru the land, SINGING AS I GO, pointing souls to calvary thru the crimson flow. MANY ARROWS PIERCE MY SOUL, from without, within. BUT MY LORD LEADS ME ON, thru HIM I MUST WIN. OH I WANT TO SEE HIM, look upon his face, there to sing forever, of His saving grace, on the streets of glory, let me lift my voice, CARES ALL PAST, HOME AT LAST, ever to rejoice."
I didn't understand at first why this song? As I pondered the song, I really felt it as your life, and what a comfort to know that we are all on a journey to a better place, and with great anticipation, one day we wil be singing on the streets of glory. How exciting that's going to be. Another song, came to mind...."Peace, Peace, Wonderful Peace coming down from the Father Above. Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray, in phantomless billows of love." That is my prayer for you this day, let the peace of our father's love envelope you bring comfort, strength, and healing this day, We love you Tammy!

My sweet friend,
Daily, as I look at some of the photos of you and I (and you and Roe) that I've taken in your home, I'm reminded to pray for you every day!!! We've been through a lot together and I treasure the many times we've had together over the 30 years we've known each other. I don't understand or question God as to why you have had to endure so much pain, but I do know that our God will never leave you or forsake you. If I were with you today I'd take you in my arms and hold you tight and we'd cry together again. But I know what our God is holding you, loving you and best of all you still love him! I'll see you again someday in NC or in heaven and I'll play as you sing one of our favorites...Amazing Grace. I send a big hug for Roe, Tammy Sue and Jay too! Sure hope you've received the cards I've been sending you...and truly understand that you can't write back as you have in the past. That's OK; just know I love you girl! Please keep the hot pink flamingo close by, as by your own admission she SHE makes you laugh. What an influence you have been to millions, and to me too. God be with today as never before! Know I love you! Shirley Balmer-Jordan.

I was diagnosised with colon cancer in 2001 and had the same oncologist you mentioned in your letter. I believe in God's healing but what I do know is that he has given me such incredible peace in what ever my outcome might be. I do pray that I will be able to have the time to raise my precious 13 year old daughter and also be and incredible inspiration to others as you are. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dearest Tammy: You are the most courageous woman that I have ever known. Throughout your life you have faced diversity with your head up high showing the world just how blessed you are. I am a RN and seen many forms of courage. A gentleman that I cared for told me that he saw an angel on my left shoulder after taking care of a hospice patient. I am sure you have many. I yearn to be close to you at this most blessed time as I think of you as my friend who has always amazed me over the years. I thank God for knowing you if only by the media, I and many others love you so very much. I also will pray for a miracle. Love Ann Marie

Just to let you know, at a point when things seem so ridiculous and my mind and body want to shut down, I hear your voice saying "don't give up." You don't have to be a hero, but you are.

Dear Tammy,

I remember you being on TV when I was a little girl, but never really watched you or had a strong relationship with God. It wasn't until I saw you on VH1's Surreal Life that I really got to "know you". I was so amazed by your sweetness, character and integrity. You touched me. As an adult now, who has found a relationship with God, it is people like you who inspire me. You are truly an amazing woman and you are in my prayers.
