I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Tammy Faye. She was a true inspiration to so many people and she is one of the few true Christians who really cared for others and gave her whole heart in doing so. Now, this dear and wonderful lady is in heaven with Our Lord Jesus Christ and she shall be so missed by her family and the world that so loved her. Now God has a new Angel and when Tammy left us for God the earth felt a emptiness. But I for one love the thought that she is up there with Our Lord looking down and still caring for us who are left behind. I look forward to the day I can meet her when I too am taken to Heaven. Bright blessings to Her family. We shall always love you Tammy and you will be greatly missed!

We were members of PTL for many years, until it all fel apart. We never thought the things they were accused of were as bad as the media wanted us to.People make mistakes and Tmmy and Jim are no different. They were in the public eye and therefore scrutinized more severely. I really liked them both and so sorry that they had to go through what they did.
It is a sad commentary though that we as the BODY of Christ threw them away like old rags and not too many came along side of them to keep them afloat.
What does that say about you and me folks?
You were a power house little girl and God has you at home in Peace at last.
You will be missed.

Loved you over the years and hurt for the actions which made your life painful. Now you rest in peace in God's own hands. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, acceptance of ALL, and for always being a LADY.

Dear Jay and Tammy Sue, What courage your mother had. To appear on international TV, just hours before going home to be with The Lord and preach Jesus and His great salvation was a mighty final act. May her courage and dedication to her calling as an evangelist to the world sustain you during this sensitive time.
May the Lord Bless and Keep you both and your families.

I just want the family to know how sorry I am for there lost. But if you look at it like it is really not a lost is is a gain. Because where she is at now is a gain for the lord. Because she is up there now singing and dancing and having a good time. She is not in any pain she is not crying.
So to here family and friends lets just smile. Don't cry Just smile

Tammy leaves many legacies behind but I think the most impactful and prevelant is her constant faith and unconditional love. For those who would listen, she taught us much. Especially that "God is Love". He is not about judgment or condemnation or any of a myriad of things that certain "christians" would have us believe.
After the PTL debacle, Tammy could have very easily become reclusive and stayed out of the limelight. Instead however (and thankfully) she chose to grab life by the horns and live life to the fullest, spreading her own brand of joy and love along the way. She taught us much. She is a beautiful soul. And now she is with our Father, where she will never again have to suffer the pain of this world.
Thank you and God Bless you Tammy.

Tammy Faye, you are in His bosom resting peacefully like you deserve. You touched so many lives (mine included) and it is so sad to see you go. In Him you were strong and He was with you till the very end.

Rest in perfect peace - your work here is done!

My wonderful sister & friend... I miss you terrible, Tam. I cannot imagine life without you on this earth; you changed my life more than any one person in my lifetime. I will never forget the things you taught me or the fun things we did: Shopping, shopping, shopping; long talks about God and ministry; talking about how much we love our children; Golden Girls, Gunsmoke & The Nanny; The Eyes of Tammy Faye; Thairin, Randy & Fenton; making fudge; extra whipped cream; diet coke & hair color; TGI Fridays, City Wok or ANY Chinese food; watching The Passion together; cooking chicken for the boys; Resale Shops; Fried Green Tomatoes; crying with others; talking about friends; praying for people in the malls; going to The Roseanne Show; anything zebra or hot pink, or anything that "popped"; jewelry jewelry jewelry; wee wee hunts; Marianna, Shirley, Deb, Sharon, Melissa, Denise, Patty, Ron, Trishelle, Tracy, Sigrid, etc; rearranging closets; laughing till we had to RUN to the bathroom and sometimes not making it; more talks about God; wearing bathrobes & watching TV; packing to travel & going through security will all those bracelets; Tuppie & Muffy; Pastor Jeff... will never forget you my friend and confidante. I love where you are but I loved being with you, each day was an adventure to remember. Thank you from the bottom of my heart... for staying full of faith and being such an example. I will see you again, leading the choir of angels at the top of your healed, healthy, new & eternal lungs. All my love...

Tammy,
I remember watching you when I was a child. You were a well known person in our house hold. I never understood the whole make up thing, but that is certainly what people remember most about you. I love it. It broke my heart to see you going throw that pain and struggling to talk to us on Larry King Live. My grandmother has cancer in several places including the lungs, I honestly pray God takes her before she has to go throw the pain you did. God Bless you and your family. I will never forget you. Until we meet in Heaven, Melissa Morgan

AS A LITTLE GIRL MY MOTHER FAITHFULLY WATCHED THE PTL SHOW AND ME AND MY SIBLINGS WATCHED ALSO. I REMEMBER TAMMY BEING SO HAPPY AND FULL OF LIFE WHEN SHE SANG HER SONGS. I FELT SO SAD FOR HER WHEN EVERYTHING HAPPENED WITH HER, JIM, THE FAMILY AND THE MINISTRY. THEN WHEN I HEARD SHE HAD CANCER, I THOUGHT THIS WOMAN IS A FIGHTER AND SHE WILL NOT GIVE INTO THIS DISEASE. SHE FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT AND WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED. SHE WAS BOTH BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT. TAMMY IS AN ANGEL AND LIKE SHE SAID ON LARRY KING SHE KNOWS FOR A FACT THAT SHE'S GOING STRAIGHT TO HEAVEN. MAY GOD BLESS HER FAMILY ROE, TAMMY SUE, JAMIE, AND EVEN JIM BAKER. SHE BEARED NO HARSH FELING TOWARDS HIM BECAUSE SHE IS A CHRISTIAN AND SHE KNOWS THAT GOD IS A FORGIVING GOD. I WILL TRULY MISS HER LAUGH AND HER BIG BEAUTIFUL "EYELASHES". MAY SHE REST IN PEACE AND KNOW THAT SHE TOUCHED PEOPLE FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE. TAMMY FAYE I LOVE YOU AND WILL MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!!

How happy Heaven must be to have you, and how sad Earth will be without you. What a courageous and beautiful person we have lost. "Wish I could see the angels' faces, when they hear your sweet voice sing".

We have not lost you, Tammy. I am looking forward to seeing you in heaven on that glorious day. You have fought the good fight and won. Many people in this world, especially the Christians did not forgive you, hated you and even scandalised you libeliously. Shem to them, for they ere not our Loving, Merciful God. I thank God for the courage he gave you to go through it all. You had a wonderful heart and I know you touched many lives in this world and will touch many. We need such role models like you who rise, fall and rise up again from their own conviction, NOT of the others'. God speaks to people on a personal level for He is a personal God. I thank the TBN family for bringing you back to us in your last days with the battle. I remember your voice.
Farewell Tammy. See you then.

Tammy Faye had a presence like no other. Her love of God truly showed through. I miss her humor and kindness. I never got to meet her in person, even though at times it had felt like it. She will be missed, but one thing that keeps me going is knowing the fact that she is with God, and that's where she and I truly want her to be.

Tammy Faye, your love for all things will live on in the face of your Children, Grandchildren, and Your Wonderful Husband. Thank you for a final good bye on the Larry King show which showed how wonderful the final days on earth can be as long as you know whats in store for you. God Bless you and thank you for sharing your life for us all.

MUCH LOVE,

I watched the PTL show when I was in the Air Force in the 80s and even though I wasn't a Christian, I was always moved by Tammy's heart. I have watched her come through all of the drama in her life with grace and with a true heart. It isn't difficult to see Tammy's heart and I am impressed with Roe's love for her. It is not sad that she has died because she is in heaven and she showed each one of us how to live a Christian life without apologies and with the honesty to admit her fear...that is what impresses me most about her life. Bless her husband, her daughter and son who will miss her most.

Enjoy life on the other side, you deserve only the best! We will all meet together soon enough. To her loved ones, it may seem cliche, but it's reassuring to know she's in a better place and that she is not truly gone.

Tammy Faye - A woman with the faith and patience of Job. I am sure she will be missed. Absent from the body is present with the Lord. To her family: be encouraged. Your Mom was great woman. That touched many lives. Keep your head up and be proud of that. Rejoice. She would want you to.
