When I was a teenager I found her to be very interesting and that was when the scandal was blowing up around she and Jim. I found her to be one of the most spirited people that I had witnessed. She didn't have any pretense to her and she loved all people and agreed to disagree in times of indifference. What a special woman she was. I have taken my time to leave a message as I didn't want to say something without thinking about it first, but I am glad that Tammy Faye is up there on my side. Bless her family and all the people she showed love for in her life.

To absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We will always remember you for the person you were while on Earth. God bless your family and may you rest in peace!

I sometimes watched Tammy Faye/Jim Baker on their PTL show in the 80's. The thing I remember most when the PTL/adultery scandal hit the news was how strong a person Tammy Faye was. To this day I don't believe Tammy Faye knew Jim Baker was stealing millions from, the ministry and having an affair. Tammy Faye was a STRONG woman who really loved the lord. No one should have to go through such pain and suffering like Tammy Faye did. Through it all she stood strong and kept her faith not only in GOD but in herself and others. Tammy Faye - God's given you your wings, so fly home and be with the LORD. Your suffering is over. Your strength and courage I will remember forever.

One May night in 1981, I was at a turning point in my life. I was going back on drugs or suicide I thought were my only options!! Then I turned the TV on and saw the Happy face of Tammy Faye!! I called the prayer line and turned my life over to Jesus! That day marked the beginning of a life never ever alone, and so many times when I heard Tammy say, You can Make it, I said I can too.
Bless you Tammy Faye, and I will see you in Heaven one day. YOu were truly an angel sent to save my life, and I will forever be grateful!!

You are my hero, you were a true evangelist till the end. I know when you saw Jesus for the first time, the first thing He must have said to you was "Well done Tammy Faye". We will miss your smiling face, your encouraging words, and your never ending hope in all situations.

I hope you are resting happily and peacefully in God's embrace. I didn't know much about you until I saw you of "The Surreal Life," where I was introduced to a woman with a glorious heart filled with love for all, even those, or maybe especially those, whose lives were very different from yours. What an inspiration. This world would be such a better place if everyone loved each other unconditionally, like you did. God bless you, Tammy Faye. You have earned your place in heaven.

I'm going to sure Miss Tammy Faye, she was an inspiration to so many. She showed us how to face adversity and trials as a True Christian should. I grew up watching PTL and I will never ever forget how she so lovingly reached out to us in the Gay community.

“I am the resurrection, and the life,” spoke the Master. “He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.”
Tammy you are a person who truly has lived this principle. I know you are alive and well in our Heavenly Father's home. Your postive attitude and great humor will be missed. You were one of a kind. May the Lord bless your loved ones.

While I am not a religious person, I was touched by seeing the depth of your faith, even in the face of death, and how it comforted and sustained you. I hope that, when my time comes, I am 1/2 as serene as you were. I had a hamburger and fries with lots of ketchup in your honor today.

We loved you for your uniquie spirit, Your energy, postive attitude and cheery outlook, it helped me look at things in a more postive way.I would watch your video Tammy Faye Death defying and feel I too could go on with my own illness and my fathers death from lung cancer. When you went away a bright light was put out on this earth.
