Hi Tammy,
I know you're gone from your physical body but, you're still living in your heavenly body. I've always had a feeling that you were a genuine person despite all the controversy....and he that is without sin,...... I believe you are with the LORD and you're looking down on us giggling and singing and waiting for those who choose to live a christian life and join you! God bless your family and I hope to see you when I arrive at the pearly gates.

During my High School years in the '80's, I experienced a spiritual battle. Never having been baptized, but raised in a home where Dad read from The Bible, (but didn't congregate)I was confused to say the least. I watched PTL for guidance and knowledge. I was always touched by Tammy Faye's tearful insistence that Jesus was the only way--and, like everyone else, was horrified when PTL came crashing down. I was baptized in 1990, and have come into an intimate walk with the Lord. Thank you, Tammy Faye for being an important part of that journey. Thank you for standing on the Rock. Thank you for the fine example of faithfullness when presented with unfaithfullnes. We all get forsaken, just as Jesus was. Thank you for showing us all what comes after the forsaking. Your strength, your Grace, your enduring faithfullness will be an example to me for the rest of my days. May you rest in the Glorious Peace you so richly deserve. God Bless you.

Thank you dear Lord for the time you shared Tammy with us. Her life was an tue example of all the tribulations we have to endure in this world as your children. Tammy you have made me want to be a better person as I witnessed your strength and unshakeable faith. You always..always let us know we are not alone in this world and oh! WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS.

I'm a 27 year-old gay male who's been fighting bone cancer the last 4 years. I've had multiple surgeries and reoccurences and Tammy Faye always has been a role model on how to handle what life brings your way! You are now an Angel, Spread Your Wings! Rest in Peace Tammy!

I have been watching Tammy Faye since her days as Suzy Moppet! In the 80's, she blessed me so much with her songs and told me that I "could make it.". Also, she told me the only difference between bitter and better was the "I". I still use that one today! I considered her my pastor during this time.

I heard her last beautiful sermon on Larry King that was possibly her best because she preached it with her life and soul.

I will never forget this wonderful spirit, and I know that she has joined that "cloud of witnesses" that continue to pray for us.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

It was a very sad moment to hear of Tammy Faye's passing. I cried. And i'm still in process of grieving..and I never knew her!

But if anyone has gone to heaven, she has! And I do hope to see her there one day. She taught us a lot about graceful letting go of this life.
Best wishes and peace to her family. I have been very impressed with you all.

Tammy,
May the Lord shine his blessings on you in Heaven. You were a beautiful, inspirational woman who reminded me so much of my deceased aunt who also perished due to cancer. Rest in peace.

I always wanted to meet Tammy but never got the opportunity but admired her so many reasons. I know its possible to love someone you never met cause I loved the lady so much. She was an ispiration to me and my soul mate and I will always remember her and she lives with me everyday and always will.
Tammy you will be missed and for that I am sad but know you are with our heavenly father and my earthly father who also died of cancer.

we love you dearly.

It is with the greatest heartfelt sympothy that I leave a memory of one of the greatest human beings I have ever met! Working at Spinnaker's Restaurant in Carolina Place Mall I would serve Tammy her favorite Quiche and Cherry coke with that extra side of cherries and grenadine she loved so much. I had great coversations with her and sometimes just got the tips on who was having the big sales! It was with great pleasure that I was able to give a pleasant and peaceful moment to a woman who greatly deserved it. I miss our talks and now wait for the moment we will meet again and hope that she will remember the fond moments we shared together. Thanx for everything sweetheart!! And I hope I can find an address to send the balloons she wanted instead of flowers. God bless your family and may you know that your angel is back with God and Jesus and the pain is finally gone!

I wish Tammy Faye's family peace despite such a horrible loss. Tammy Faye was such a positive person and left this world a happier place. She made a difference and I hope that helps comfort her family. She truly got it...the purpose of life...and I know that she is in her place among angels and what a special guardian angel she will make.
Thank you for sharing your special mom, wife, friend, sister and daughter with the world. God bless you all!

We are rejoicing now that one of GOD's own has gone on to be in the Eternal Presence of GOD ALMIGHTY. This earth has had a loss but she was always heavens gain. I recall when I was 15 years old watching Tammy Faye ministering on the "PTL Club". It ministered to my heart so that I received Christ the LORD as my Savior and Friend. No doubt about it....even though unknown to her on the earth, she now knows all the lives that she has touched such likes of mine. I know we are not to be evious but, "Oh to be in the Everlasting Joy and Presence of GOD, the Maker of Heaven and Earth, where Tammy Faye now resides!" She is praising her Savior and LORD and has that "Glorified body now!" May all of those who have been touched by this life of hers continue in the Faith of our LORD JESUS CHRIST! GOD BLESS the "Family that mourns." Our prayers are ever going up for you. Love in our LORD JESUS CHRIST D. Burns

Tammy Faye,
I admire you for being such a faith filled woman , and through all of your trials, you maintained your strong faith, and now you are resting in the arms of the Lord. May you rest in peace, and I look forward to seeing you in heaven.

Tammy, thank you for taking us into your heart. You did not judge us but believed that we are a miracle of God, and not a mistake. I know He is holding you in His loving arms today.

I sent you an e-mail, Tammy, not knowing you were already in Heaven when I wrote it. Sorry I waited too long.

One of my favorite images of you is when you left the courhouse after Jim had been unjustly sentenced to 45 years in prison, and when asked for a comment, you began to sing: "On Christ the Solid Rock I stand, all other ground is shifting sand." I was so proud of you.

To everyone who criticizes Jim Bakker: Tammy Faye said, before and after their divorce: Jim Bakker did not steal money from PTL. Jim Bakker is a good man. He's a nice man. I like this man. The news media makes accusations and does not use the word "alleged" in statements regarding "defrauding," etc. I was one of the "flock" who gave money, and never felt defrauded. Please, out of respect for Tammy and her children, if nothing else, stop criticizing Jim. I have met him, which has nothing to do with it, I guess, but he was persecuted by secular government. The facts are there, but people parrot what they hear or read.

Tammy Sue, Jamie Charles (Jay), Roe, and Jim and family, my heart is broken, so I can't imagine what you are going through. She loved you all so dearly, as I love her and all of you.

I know she is safe with her Jesus, but it still hurts not to be able to see her anymore on Earth and to know how you must be missing her. May Jesus wrap you in his arms as she would do if she could and comfort you.
