When I heard of your passing, I cried for you ... not from sadness, but with joy that you have gone home to meet the Lord. You endured so much, but handled yourself with dignity and grace. You were a shining example of what a true Christian is when you cast all your doubts and fears on the Lord. May you now have eternal peace, until we meet one day.

I am going to miss Tammy Faye alot, as I grew up watching her sing and give wonderful words on TV. I was so encouraged by her and knowing that I don't have to be ashamed of who I am in Jesus Christ and there is alot of people out there that feels the same as I did. I still have alot of her albums and listen to them when I feel down, but knowing that Tammy Faye is up there in heaven and we will see her again, Tammy is an inspiration to us all and accepted everyone with love and compassion. God Bless Tammy, I know that God is now enjoying your company.

Perfection.
An eternity of joy. You fit right in.
Meeting you will be a pleasure that I look forward to, someday.
No more struggle.
No more pain.
No more tears.
No more ridicule.
No more.
Now there's seeing family,friends.
New and Old.
Now there's singing and praise.
Now there's a mansion for all.
Now there's streets of gold.
Now there's sunshine everyday.
Now there's no worry or fear or concern.
Now there's completeness in everyway.
Foiwers and heavenly colors.
With 20/20 vision you see Jesus, the One Who died for ALL.
You lived, you loved, you died and even more...You are more alive than ever before. In the end, you won.
Perfection.

Tammy Faye, you were an inspiration to Christians and non-Christians alike. Your warmth, love, honesty and inclusivity were so welcome and refreshing. The strength and faith you displayed right up to the end of your earthly life touched many hearts. I have no doubt in my mind that you have made your way into a much, much better place where you will have everlasting peace and serenity.
Rest well Tammy Faye.

In tribute of Tammy Faye:

You were truly one-of-a-kind.

You wore your large heart not just on your sleeve, but anywhere you could conceivably pin it. Whatever you were prior to the downfall of PTL there is no doubt the aftermath changed you. Not the inherent you for you exuded warmth, caring, and that essential bit of naivete that made you charming. Since you were naturally over-the-top in all things this same exuberance for life allowed you to give abundantly of yourself and of your time.

The change after PTL may have occurred through a feeling of despair when you may have truly understood the real pain of loss in nearly every venue save one: your faith in the Lord which was now put to the test. So, you handed your trials over to Jesus and through your faith you built a stronger bridge that enabled you connect and to understand and commiserate with the rest of humanity on their struggles.

You did indeed "make lemonade out of lemons."

I believe you always accepted people for who and what they were because that is what you wished for yourself, amd you probably realized that that is simply the way it should be: that people must find their own way through the guidance of the Lord. Jesus, in his time on this earth, scorned no one, and in fact offered comfort to all of those he encountered, no matter the nature of their sin. He also sought to counsel for change, and I believe He inherently knew who would be receptive to His teachimgs and who would not. But He prayed for them anyway. From what I have observed over the years you have tried to emulate His ways but in the inimatably unique style that was yours alone.

Rest in peace, Tammy Faye. I doubt the world will see a more fascinating figure in my lifetime. You did not bow to the conventions of others but rather followed your own God-given instincts to just be yourself. You talked the Talk and now you walk the Walk with Jesus.

You were a true original and I salute you!
