Tammy, you were the real deal. You didn't just wrap yourself in a banner of religious piety for show (and for others votes), you were a spiritual being who understood that we are all the same in the eyes of God. This unconditional love is a kind that we should try as best as we can to emmulate (and often fail). You were a great example of how to live ones life in a non-judgemental fashion and also how to die with courage, faith, and dignity. No matter what illness and disease did to your mortal body you were and always will be beautiful. You should know that countless people loved you and will miss you but we are so happy that you are now home and free of suffering. Thank you for all that you have done.

My prayers go out to the family of Tammy Faye. She will be missed! We were blessed .. and now .. heaven is blessed. I had the pleasure of meeting her. It was so very nice having a "regular" conversation with her! She was beautiful inside and out. She was truly a child of God. We can ALL learn many lessons from her. I was VERY SAD when I heard the news. Although, I would not be selfishly wish her back from the joyful, painfree life that she has now. How can we wish her back after she has seen the face of JESUS !! We are sinners becuase we are human beings. Therefore, it is understandable that we want loved ones back! I could not imagine being under the microscope .. and in the limelight ... always getting criticized no matter what you do! You can never please everybody! All she did was try and please God! When she failed .. as we ALL do .. she asked for forgiveness. She has not done anything worse than any of us have done. She was human !! She was an incredibally wonderful, courageous person. I'd also like to say that I had the pleasure of meeting Tammy Sue. She was just as sweet as her mother !! Sue and I had a nice "regular" conversation as well. We are all humans and sinners. I thank Jesus for the blood that washed our sins away. All we have to do is ASK and believe in Jesus Christ, the Trinity ! God has wiped every tear from Tammy's eyes now !! PRAISE GOD that she knows incredible joy now that she has never known !! SHE WIL BE MISSED !! May you sing and praise the LORD FOREVER !! I'll see you .. "in the blink of an eye" along with seeing the face of My Master, Jesus Christ!

I cried so hard when I saw her on Larry King the other night and when I heard she passed I was so relieved to know she is now in heaven with our wonderful Lord and Savior!!! My thoughts and prayers are with her family!! God Bless you all!

I am glad she is no longer suffering. I had hoped she could end her suffering if she wasn't going to get better. Yet she was tough and up beat and a real inspiration. When you think think you have it tough there's always someone else who has it tougher. I think she was put into the limelight at an early age and despite the trails she came through as a genuine caring individual with a strong belief in God. I think she'll do fine.

You gave a human face to the Born Again Christian movement. Because of you it was no longer the domain of frightening old men damning everyone to hell, as you gave it heart. You will be missed by all who you touched with your warmth and dedication.

Tammy, you will be missed!! I've loved you since I was a little girl - I'm 37 now. I admire your courage, strength but mostly your undying Faith in the Lord!!! You have encouraged me so much!!! I know two things you wanted to do more than anything were to sing and to have a hamburger and french fries!!! I rejoice in the knowledge that you are singing today with that beautiful voice in heaven and God is serving you up the best burger you've ever had!!! I will miss you but you are no longer suffering and for that I am grateful!!! To Tammy's family, you have my deepest sympathies!!! You will all be in my thoughts and prayers!!! God Bless you all and thank you for sharing your mother, wife, grandmother, sister and friend with the world!! She will be missed, always loved but NEVER forgotten!!!

When I truly found the Lord in the 70's, there was one place I could go to find the truth about the awesome power of God, and that was P.T.L. I learned there that God was truly alive and still in the miracle business. The difference P.T.L. made in my life was major. And, I will always remember Tammy's encouragment to "run to the roar!" Don't be afraid - face the things that scare you. That advice has stayed with me all these years. I love you, Tammy. I'm glad you're singing better than you ever have - with an back-up chorus of angels! I'm sure it is you're giving magnificient praise to God.

Someday I'll get to say "thank you" face to face.

If I could ...

I'd write for you a rainbow
and splash it
with all the colors of GOD
and hang it
in the window of your being
So that each new GOD's morn
Your eyes would open first
to hope and Promise ...

If I could,
I'd wipe away your tears
And hold you close
forever in my heart
But GOD never promised
I could write a rainbow,
Never promised
I could suffer for you.

GOD only promised
I could love you,
and that I did...that I do.

Dear Tammy Sue,Roe and family,
May God Bless you all! I lost my mother to cancer a few ago too, and I know the pain you are suffering from your loss. Without, knowing it your mother was the encouragement I needed at a time when I felt so alone. She was one of the most beautiful spirits God ever sent to this earth. When I think if her it always brings a smile to my face. Her music still touches my heart. My mother told me before she passed though there will be tears, think of me with laughter and joy. Remember all the silly things we used to do and know that I am right there with you.

God Bless
